Denmark and Albany Chambers of Commerce worked together to welcome members from both Chambers to a joint event this month. This successful collaboration was supported by hosts Albany Event Hire, Albany Solar and South Coast Insurance Brokers.

Megan Robb with her son Cameron Robb and their team welcomed members from both chambers to their new premises on Newbey Street where a vast array of furniture and equipment available for hire is stored. There is an impressive collection to suit a whole range of functions.

Justine Canning and Neil Howitt started Albany Solar 10 years ago which is a long time in the renewable energy business. They are moving with the industry changes and are finding that battery storage is becoming common place. They expect the demand for this to increase.

South Coast Insurance Brokers team of nine were all present at the event headed up by Nathan Hadlow. The team is a blend of youth and experience who are all dedicated to helping clients find solutions to their insurance needs.

President of Denmark Chamber Stuart Evans encouraged small business owners to mingle and to talk to new people at these events to help find common ground and to build business contacts. There was plenty of opportunity for this with well over 100 people at the event. The attendance of a variety of liberal party members added extra interest and conversation.Thank-you to all the hosts for another great night of networking and socialising.
