May Business After Hours

Denmark Environment Centre hosted the May Business After Hours which was a lively and popular event.

Simon Neville a long-time supporter of the work of the Denmark Environment Centre spoke of the many local projects and current issues that the DEC is involved in. The organisation is integral to the future sustainability of the local area and is well supported by a large group of willing volunteers.

More volunteers are always welcome, and you can find out more by dropping into the vibrant shopfront on Strickland street.

It was the first Business After hours in his new role for Denmark Chamber CEO John Gates. John was warmly welcomed by DCC President Chris Langslow who also thanked outgoing CEO Sumer Addy for her valuable contributions over the last two years.

New member Simon Summerfield from Oceanside Electrical was introduced and Ola Tylestam from Estate 807 was the winner of a beautifully illustrated book on local wildflowers.
