November Business After Hours

This month’s Business After Hours hosted by The Dam at Raintree was for many Denmark Chamber members a first visit to this new and exciting venue which has been many years in the making.
It certainly lived up to expectation with its magnificent setting and creative landscaping. It looks set to become a very popular venue.
Venue manager Trevor Pedersen and his vibrant team have been working hard to prepare for their recent opening and are looking forward to the busy season ahead. Trevor said they aim to live up to the high standard that has been set by other venues in Denmark and to always be there for local patrons.
Steve Birkbeck and his family have had the vision for The Dam at Raintree since first purchasing the property over 20 years ago. With a cattle farming background Steve and his family have had much success with other business ventures including Mt Romance Sandalwood Shop and The Temple boutique spa in Albany. With further plans for a spa boutique in Denmark they are on their way to becoming a significant local employer. Sustainability is at the forefront of all they do.
New member to the Denmark Chamber Bob Mulligan and his business Safety and Compliance Services were introduced along with the new owners of Spring Bay Villas Brian and Julia Low.
The lucky winner of a bottle of Raintree sparkling was Michelle Lott from Tullybrook Individualised Support Services.
