November BAH – Denmark Good Food Factory

Chamber members travelled into the West of the Shire for the November Business After Hours to the Denmark Good Food Factory. Gill and Jon Atkinson and their friendly team of staff extended a very warm welcome to everyone which set the tone for a relaxing evening.

On offer were a variety of tasty burgers and hot chips along with an array of drinks including their own range of cider and wine from Rockcliffe. A surprise offering was The Right Gin which is the new creation of this dynamic team. With its snappy labelling featuring a photo taken by local photographer Matt Blakers, The Right Gin will be available for purchase very soon. Gill and Jon have plans for a new garden to cater especially for this new product which could prove to be very popular.

In the meantime  a new paved outdoor dining area is currently in the final stages of completion. This is ready for what is looking to be a very busy summer ahead.

Gill spoke highly of their team of staff who have been very flexible and supportive during this year of much change and uncertainty. They look forward to keeping things fresh and to welcoming back many of their repeat customers along with the new.

Belinda Rowland from Denmark Coop was the winner of the draw prize, this was to the great delight of Pea 1 –  the resident peacock –  who crowed loudly on hearing this news.
