Rock Haven is a self-contained brick cottage uniquely set on a granite rock outcrop located halfway between Ocean Beach and Denmark.
The most special thing about Rock Haven is the quiet location, bounded by the Little River Walk Trail and the Wilson Inlet foreshore reserve. Guests have direct access to inlet and river waters to launch small craft. Boat ramps at Poddy Shot and Denmark Rivermouth are nearby for launching larger boats.
The cottage sleeps four people comfortably, with the potential of hosting six. Bedroom 1 has a king bed with inlet water glimpses and access to an enclosed courtyard. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and views of Little River bush reserve. Plus the open plan lounge/dining area has a sofa bed (suitable for one person) and a single bed. There is one toilet and a shower room that includes laundry facilities.
The cottage features an ESSE wood heater/cooker with heat transfer fans into the ceilings of both bedrooms. Perfect for those cooler nights! There are also two portable electric fan/heaters on standby.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay – including a plunger, teapot, blender, and BBQ. Basic cooking items (salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, some herbs and spices) are provided and there is a very productive lemon tree right outside! Enjoy dining inside or outside on the sheltered deck, with views to the Wilson Inlet.
Satellite TV and DVD/CD are available but please note there is no Wifi – use your personal hotspot or just enjoy this nature lover’s paradise!
Bed linen and towels are provided but BYO beach towels. There is parking for 3 cars, and for caravan and boat trailer if required.
