Kwoorabup Nature School is proud to be the first Nature School in Western Australia. Formerly Spirit of Play Community School, we are located in the town of Denmark on the banks of the Kwoorabup Beeliar/Denmark River.
We deliver the Western Australian curriculum across Kindergarten to Year 6 with an approach that is creative, playful, grounded in nature and connected to the community.
We are a progressive, nature-based, nurturing school where children lead their learning. We emphasise community connections, Noongar culture, and research-based teaching practices that are engaging and inspiring. We pride ourselves on being guided by research-based approaches to education that nurture and extend our children’s innate curiosity and love for learning.
