December 2023 Business After Hours

The December Business After Hours had a festive atmosphere at the always popular Rockcliffe Winery. Owner Steve Hall and his team made everyone welcome and Denmark Chamber members were able to enjoy Rockcliffe’s wines along with a variety of delicious pizzas made on site. Steve has branched out into offering pizzas, platters and house made fudge to add to the already available gelato. Steve is always looking for new and creative ways to grow his business and keep it viable.

The event was co-hosted by the Denmark Co-operative. The ‘Co-op’ is popular with most Denmark people and it is surprising what you can find there – ‘virtually everything’- according to manager Chris Langslow. Six years ago, the Denmark Co-operative employed 10 people, and now employs 20 which shows the value of supporting local businesses that employ our local people.

Two new members introduced themselves at the event. Abie Kooy who is the new owner of Denmark Deliveries and Michael Pemberton who represented  Containers for Cash, Spencer Park.
