March Business After Hours

Chamber members gathered in a celebratory atmosphere this month as Raine & Horne Great Southern hosted the March Business After Hours event at their newly relocated premises on South Coast Highway.

Owners John and Julie Hetherington welcomed guests to the spacious new office, expressing their delight at moving to a larger and more centrally located site. The new premises provide excellent street frontage and improved accessibility, marking an exciting step forward for the business as it continues to grow within the local community.

Julie took the opportunity to acknowledge the dedication and experience of their team, offering special thanks to Brett Lukey and Jane Hockley. Both have spent many years working in the real estate sector in Denmark and bring with them extensive knowledge, strong local connections and valuable experience that continue to strengthen the agency’s service to clients.

Looking ahead, the business plans to expand its property management services, an area the team sees as an important opportunity for growth while continuing to support property owners and tenants across the region.

As is tradition at Business After Hours, a pair of lucky door prizes added to the evening’s celebrations. Jade Morrison took home a bottle of Singlefile Wine, while David Stockdale won a thoughtfully curated gift box from Mettle Gifts.

Mettle Gifts is a non-profit social enterprise that creates ethical gift boxes and hampers while providing employment, training and financial empowerment to individuals experiencing homelessness as a result of domestic and family violence.

The Chamber extends its sincere thanks to John, Julie and their dynamic team at Raine & Horne Great Southern for hosting an enjoyable and welcoming March Business After Hours event.
