Ocean Beach/Pooryungup

The Noongar name for Ocean Beach Peninsular is Pooryungup “Place of large rock”

Great surfing for all levels, walking, bird watching, swimming, fishing or just soak up the scenery. Patrolled by Denmark Surf Lifesaving during summer school holidays. The Denmark Surf Life Saving Club operate a kiosk offering drinks and burgers etc. South Coast Surfing Lessons operate from ocean beach.

Beach Trecker Wheelchair

Bookings and use of the Trekker is managed, on behalf of the Council, by the Denmark Surf Life Saving Club (DSLSC) and is available typically only when the beach is being patrolled.
