AGM and October Business After Hours

Denmark Chamber of Commerce members enjoyed a beautiful evening at Rockcliffe Winery for the Chamber’s AGM and Business After Hours. With the karri-lined winery providing the perfect backdrop, the event was relaxed and welcoming.

A big thank you to Rockcliffe owner Steve Hall, who was the perfect host, cooking pizzas while tending the bar at the same time!

The AGM proceedings ran smoothly, with DCC President Chris Langslow presenting an overview of the Chamber’s work over the past year and outlining plans for the future following its exit from the Visitor Servicing role.

Chris also took the opportunity to thank outgoing committee member Julia Fitzgerald for her loyal service and many years of contribution to the Chamber.

Looking ahead, Anala Linckens has stepped into the role of Treasurer, while Christine Rumble takes on the role of Secretary. Stuart Evans will remain on the committee as an Ordinary Member, and Chris Langslow has once again accepted the role of President. Richard Keeler joins the leadership team as the new Vice President.

Congratulations to all committee members taking on these roles, and thank you to everyone who continues to contribute to the Chamber and its work supporting local businesses.

The evening finished on a high note, with Jeanne Herholdt, owner of Chimes Spa Retreat, winning a bottle of Rockcliffe wine in the prize draw.
