Denmark Chamber of Commerce members gathered at the Denmark Shire offices last week for the August Business After Hours.
The evening was co-hosted by the Shire of Denmark and NBN Co.
Shire CEO David King gave an overview of the current projects and priorities being undertaken by the Shire. From infrastructure improvements to future community planning, and the strategic efforts being made to ensure Denmark continues to thrive as a vibrant and sustainable place to live and work.
Representing NBN Co. Bethany Findlay shared some eye-opening statistics about the increasing use of digital appliances and devices in both homes and businesses – underlining the growing demand for fast, reliable internet access. Members and community members are encouraged to share their experiences, positive or otherwise, with internet connectivity in the area, and Bethany welcomes feedback to help improve services across the region.
New member Glenn Birdseye of Great Southern Auto Electrical and Air Conditioning was welcomed. With extensive experience in the field and a fully mobile service, Glenn can come to you.
Sara Coyne and Anala Linckens each walked away with a bottle of local wine as part of the night’s door prizes.
Thank you to the Shire of Denmark and NBN Co. for their support in hosting the August event.
