Walking into the Thalia Centre for the Denmark Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event, guests were greeted by the enticing aromas of authentic Laotian cuisine. Haikam and Steve from Gin Lao cooked up a feast, with crispy spring rolls, traditional Lao sausage with sticky rice, and fragrant spicy curry.
The Thalia Centre, which celebrated its first anniversary this year, has established itself as a key Allied Health hub in the town. Founded by Clinical Psychologist Jessica Heller-Bhatt and Psych-K Practitioner and Counsellor Anala Linckens, the centre has flourished into a collaborative space supporting a diverse range of health professionals. Their team now includes Chiropractor Rohan Macdougall, Audiologist Jason Currie, Midwife and Nurse Helen Hatto, and Registered Psychologist Katrina Rogozinski, all committed to providing high-quality, individualised care.
The founders emphasise a shared goal: delivering excellent, specialised services with a strong focus on each person’s unique journey. Their centrally located premises offer a warm, peaceful and welcoming environment, making the Thalia Centre a reassuring space for clients seeking support and care.
As always, Business After Hours included a moment of excitement with the prize draw. Three lucky attendees walked away with gifts, a bottle of wine, a voucher for a session with Anala, and a specially designed pillow.
Thank you to the team at the Thalia Centre for hosting such an enjoyable evening, and to Gin Lao for providing a feast.
