November Business After Hours

Business After Hours was back on the agenda this month as Tea House Books and the Denmark Co-operative hosted Denmark Chamber of Commerce members at Tea House Books on a wonderfully warm November evening.

Both hosts are well known at the Chamber, Sumer Addy is the past CEO and now owner of Tea House Books and Chris Langslow is the current DCC President and manager of Denmark Co-operative.

Attendees took the opportunity to celebrate Denmark-based business successes at the Great Southern Business AwardsArtisan Brewing, JK Bookkeeping, and Tullybrook Individualised Support Services were all winners in their respective classes.

Ali Walmsley introduced her new ‘Your Celebrant’ business offering a unique and personal ceremony service covering weddings, vow renewals, commitment, baby naming, funeral, memorials and more.

Maree Stallard introduced Maree Stallard Consulting which offers a wide range of business-related services including stakeholder engagement, project management, system design, grant writing and workforce development.

Maree also introduced Selwyn Stallard who operates a commercial and domestic bin and bag collection and disposal service, DE Bins and Bags.

Kathleen Williams introduced Blue Wren Rideshare, which is already very popular with hikers and cyclists visiting the region for drop off and pick up services. Kathleen also offers personalised guided tours.

The Chamber was also pleased to welcome new members Wayne and Carol Winchester from The Surf Gallery, and Joe Anderson from At Work, to the event.
