AGM and Sept Business After Hours

The Denmark Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours followed this year’s Annual General Meeting which was held at the Denmark Visitor Centre. Chamber staff cooked a sausage sizzle to follow the formalities. Denmark Grass Fed Meats provided an assortment of sausages that were popular with members. Along with a selection of beers brewed by Artisan Brewing and Rockcliffe wine it was a relaxed evening of festivity.

Chris Langslow, President of the Denmark Chamber of Commerce, gave an overview of the Chamber’s financial position and summarized the past year’s achievements.

The Denmark Chamber of Commerce Committee has had only one change which provides consistency and continuity for the organisation moving forward. Thank you to outgoing Committee member Michael Cranny and welcome to Christine Rumble, new owner of the Denmark Chocolate Company.

New member Bee Pope introduced her business Bee Organised, a professional organising and decluttering service.

Kath Ward won the prize draw and took home an Elephant Rocks T-shirt designed by Pinejelly Designs and available in the Visitor Centre.
