AGM and September Business After Hours

The Denmark Chamber of Commerce held its Annual General Meeting month at the Denmark Country Club this month.

Committee members Kath Kinnear, Director of Bio Diverse Solutions, and Juliet Grist, Principal of Regional and Rural Economic Solutions, did not seek re-election. President Chris Langslow thanked them both for their lively contributions and intelligent input over the last few years.

Bee Pope of Bee Organised is a welcome addition to the Committee.

Chris also acknowledged the support that Denmark Chamber has received over many years from local business advisor Richard Keeler. Richard has retired recently after providing mountains of valuable business advice in Denmark over many years and his regular visits to the Denmark Chamber office will certainly be missed.

The very capable Mark Shenton will be stepping into Richard’s shoes and is available in Denmark for business advice. Appointments with Mark can be made via the Denmark Chamber of Commerce.

The meeting was followed by the September Business After Hours with catering provided by volunteers from the Country Club.

John Maxwell was the lucky winner of a bottle of Singlefile wine.

Thank you to all our members for the support we have received this year. We look forward to a prosperous year ahead.
