July Business After Hours

The Lake House Denmark and the Great Southern Development Commission teamed up to co-host the July Business After Hours event for the Denmark Chamber of Commerce. Thank you to Eden Shepherd from GSDC and Garry Capelli and Leanne Rogers, owners of The Lake House Denmark. The event was well supported by Denmark Chamber members with over 60 people attending. It was a very successful evening of networking and mingling with two new members introducing themselves: Ocean Beach Physiotherapy and Amaroo Home Care.

The Great Southern Development Commission promote and support regional business and Eden Shepherd spoke of the importance of promoting and supporting aboriginal business which has been a focus in the build up to NAIDOC week.

 Sonia Chua represented The Lake House which is constantly growing and evolving with the The Shed now the centre of production for the Vinofood and skincare products. All wine tastings now take place in The Shed.

CEO of Amaroo Home Care Lisa Brennan is keen to hear from local people to determine the needs of the town for aged care accommodation and support. They have plans for further developments in the future.

Ocean Beach Physiotherapy principal David Scriven introduced the successful and established physiotherapy practice in the centre of Denmark which includes a small gym.

Denmark Chocolate Company’s new owners also introduced themselves. Christine Rumble and Dave Boulton moved to Denmark seeking a tree change and are making their mark on their new venture with new branding on its way. They are enjoying learning the science behind creating perfect chocolate.
